Janice Antinucci has a sensitivity to the various effects of light upon color in a single day and in many locales. Having painted in Giverny, France (Monet’s garden) and many other inspiring locations throughout Europe and America she has developed a keen sense of the beauty in her own backyard. Janice has a wonderful, almost uncanny awareness of the many nuances of light and her colorful palette reflects her personal feelings both joyful and spiritual in her works. Best described in her own words “The true gift of painting is the ability to see the effect of light upon color—one’s perception of the world’s beauty becomes the ultimate blessing”. Her dramatic and sought after impressionist paintings have been exhibited and collected nationally.
